These last couple of chapters have been sooo so good, this is Kaneko at his best imo.
I gotta be honest, I really like Minoru Furuya's art, it's surprisingly detailed in Saltiness and his faces are amazing but he does use the drawings much more as a tool to get his stories out there.
Mochizuki on the other hand is a better storyteller, he's really great at constructing a page and breaking down the panels and he can be very subtle with body language and stuff, the ending to chapter 9 is incredible and I got chills just writing this down, the pace, "I want to believe" just... wow... wow!
But for my money, Atsushi Kaneko is the best artist out of the three, flat out just art, he's incredible. He sucks you into the pages and when that black pages comes up it hits you like a punch.
Oh and btw that was the end of the second volume, one more left!
Wet Moon ch. 18
and
Wet Moon Vol. 2
Everyone wants to be like Hashi. But I'm with Hideo, step out of the pages and make a real life manga, Hashi! I would read the heck out of it! This is important!!!
Tokyo Kaido ch. 18
Show me the monee~eey!
This chapter is where Minoru really spells out his themes and what he's going for in this manga, I mean precisely what he's going for.
I must confess, I burst out laughing for a couple of minutes on a page in this chapter, and it's not even so much what he says but how he said it.
