still here, still thankful. to think that before we only had pink, river's edge and helter skelter...
nonamour became one of my favorites of her stories. i'm considering buying a physical copy from it (in french). and i freaking loved the second oneshot (vamps)... such a quiet banger, if that makes any sense. it was my favorite from the collection, even if the first one is probably the 'strongest' of the bunch. i also quite liked the third one, strangely enough
i think i'll pick up the other things you guys translate... anyway, thank you for the hard work.
I'm really happy to hear that. She is a mangaka very dear to my heart and I know there are others that love her just as much as I do so I'm very happy when I read posts like this ^_^ Those three were my favorites from End of The World, too, but I thought the last one was also quite good, the third felt a bit undercooked but I still liked it, I think it would've been just as good as the others if it was longer. Nonamour is definitely one of my absolute favorites from her, it floored me when I read it. I think Rock is overall her weakest works (at least from the ones available in english) but I still like it quite a lot overall. Kyoko Okazaki simply did not miss. Hopefully we'll do some more Okazaki in 2025, I really really hope so (but no immediate plans). Hope you enjoy some of our other stuff, I strongly recommend Tokyo Kaido, it's one of my favorite things we did and it might just be right up your alley.
