Forgot to mention this but apparently Kodansha USA is going to be publishing Kyoko Okazaki's River's Edge, that's mighty cool! It's gonna be the third Okazaki title to be licensed in english, this one has an old scanlation though so... longtime fans will have already read it, the movie adaptation's pretty nice too. Still, wouldn't hurt to buy it just so we can show these publishers that we want more Kyoko Okazaki licensed in english!

So... couple of months ago or so, our dear fearless leader found the live action tv series adaptation of Minoru Furuya's Wanitokagegisu. He did some tinkering and cleaned them up because this is what the hardsubs looked like

A little bit of cleaning up the translation, fixing the timing and... voila.

Now, obviously this isn't as good as the manga, but... it's oddly charming, the main two actors do a pretty swell job and it's overall pretty cozy. Watch it if you've read the manga, it's fairly short and fairly well done, the changes made are fairly small and it works.

Watch Adrift in Tokyo if you haven't, it's pretty Minoru Furuya-esque. Too tired to write anything more, here are the goods:
