When it rains it pours
And that's a wrap for volume 1 of Tokyo Girls Bravo. I think it's really hard to balance humor and sadness, everyone wants it, that's why all those awful hollywood movies release in the past 10 years are full of dumb low effort and unfunny jokes at dramatic moments, as if they're afraid to let the audience feel. Kyoko Okazaki is a master at portraying life, with all its sadness and all its joy and her art style... like I said, after a while it grows on you and it's hard to imagine her works with a different artstyle. Rays of sunshine in the middle of a storm.

You wanna read some more Kiriko Nananan? Come join us as a ts.

And a double dose of Deathco because what's the best gift ahead of Valentines Day? Some death and destruction with a side of mutilation and foul language.
Deathco ch. 28Have a lovely V day. Here's some Lord Byron for you, he was a fascinating person, great writer but also a bit of a buffoon:
She walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that’s best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes;
Thus mellowed to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies …
