Wednesday on a Monday
In manga, when showing flashbacks usually an author will use black or gray on the gutters, so he/she will use black outside the panels but Kaneko uses them inside the panels through clever use of scenery, you're never lost despite the chaotic flipping between present and past in the beginning of the chapter. Massively cool. Also, this pic is way too good, you could use it as a wallpaper (stretch out the image with white and decide the positioning of the drawing yourself). You know, in the past I said that pacing was the only flaw (and not major) of this manga, but I think it's gotten a lot better, vol. 5 was masterfully paced.
