Minoru starts this chapter in signature style, and just like in ch23 at the seaside, or as far back as ch6... we begin this chapter with two boobs debating ethics and morality. I love the title of this chapter.

ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. I maintain that the pacing is the only real flaw of this manga, everything else is just perfect, the characters, the world, the visual direction which I simply adore... Chapters are pretty packed though so the pacing isn't terrible, it's just not great.
DeleteI agree, I think deathco is more about kaneko exploding visually and mastering kinetics , on the other hand, soil was pure plotting and pacing brilliance
DeleteThe pacing in Soil was amazing and I liked how he changed styles between Parts (or whatever he called them) but I kinda didn't like that he pretty much explained everything towards the end through text. Ending was perfect though.
DeleteAgree with you on Deathco and there's a lot of things in it that I prefer, and until I finish reading it I can't compare the two, but there's a fair chance I might prefer it over Soil.
